• Founded in 1988, in the heart of Northern Alsace, DECK SYSTEM™ owes its reputation to the production and construction of timber-framed houses, garden sheds, pergolas and conservatories. Since 1992, the company has specialised in outdoor timber and more particularly in timber decking.
The undisputed precursor in this field, DECK SYSTEM™ has acquired valuable experience in the many different materials available on the market. Its design office has invented and validated several new processes that guarantee, in all configurations, performances in terms of long-lasting quality and safety
that are unequalled in patio construction.
In line with its policy of constantly upgrading its offer, DECK SYSTEM™ filed a patent in 2005 for a revolutionary invisible fastener (the Clip JuAn fastener) and in 2006 had software developed that is specific to timber decking construction and unique in Europe (the Deck3d® programme).
Renowned for the value of its know-how, DECK SYSTEM™ is involved in drawing up the standards in this field (DTU). Today the company covers the whole of France through a network of franchised professionals, and its products, in particular the timber decking kit concept, are exported beyond its borders.
NB :
• Our products consist mainly of genuine timber. They may include a certain number of defects and characteristic features inherent to a natural, living material :
- cross-sections may vary according to hygrometry; a tolerance of 1mm is accepted for thickness and 2mm for width
- a certain amount of cross-grain fibres is inevitable
- a small number of isolated pinholes is tolerated
- very occasionally a board will warp over time.
