the adjustable support pad
• With each pad able to bear loads of up to one tonne, this is an ideal accessory offering several valuable advantages:
- will not sink into the ground and will not puncture the membrane, thanks to its large bearing area (20 cm ø)
- adjustable, providing an easy way of compensating for differences in ground level
- isolates the timber from the soil particularly effectively.
The fins on the top in which the joists lodge are exclusive to DECK SYSTEM™.

• Made of Northern pine and class 4 autoclaved, our range of joists covers 90% of the lengths and heights necessary for the construction of a decking patio.
Tried and tested over 14 years by our company, they benefit,like all the equipment offered, from a ten-year guarantee.
58 mm wide, they come in heights 38, 58 and 80 mm. Lengths available: 3 m, 3.60 m and 4.20 m.
the Clip JuAn fasteners
• The cornerstone of our system and the very latest generation of invisible fixings, the Clip JuAn fastener is distinguished first of all by its performance in terms of holding strength : 180 kg/fastening. The harpoon shape, combined with the resistance of the profi le in the wood, guarantees easy and permanent fitting. Gripping from below : The fact that the boards are gripped on the underside and(not on their edges) reduces the range of shrinkage and swelling of the timber by almost 40%. No more pre-drilling, no more marking out : the comfort and speed of assembly with Clip JuAn are quite simply amazing. The material itself is completely unaffected by water and frost.
the Brazilian Ipé decking boards
• First used in some prestigious constructions (the François Mitterrand parvis in front of the Grande Bibliothèque library in 1994, the Solférino Footbridge in 1998), Brazilian ipe (also known as green ebony) is currently considered the ideal wood for timber decking.
Silky in appearance and soft to the touch, Brazilian ipe mainly owes its reputation to its rotproof qualities. In fact, its exceptional density (1050 to 1150 km/m3) provides natural protection against both mould and insects. This density is accompanied by an unusually high degree of stability for this type of species.
The silver patina: well known to specialists, the particularly light and consistent patina of Brazilian ipe sets it apart from all the other exotic species and gives it that particular charm of a natural element that evolves with passing time.

On 1 June 2006, the Authorisation for the Transport of Forest Products (ATPF) imposed by the IBAMA (equivalent of the Forestry Commission) was replaced by the Document of Forest Origin (DOF).
This new system of electronic management maintains a database that is shared by all States. Moreover, cargos are checked in real time, making fraud impossible. Also, following the example of our local forestry practices, Brazil has now adopted selective logging of mature trees, guaranteeing the permanent renewal of the resource.
DECK SYSTEM™ buys its timber exclusively from suppliers approved by the IBAMA. Northern red pine: the FSC label, a serious guarantee of environmental protection.
